Summer Kitchen

I have been bus, busy, busy getting my house all ready for....my parent's visit!!! That's right, that's my big news, (told ya, exciting for me...not so much for anyone else, except my parents, that is) To put this into more perspective for you....I haven't had the pleasure of playing hostess for my parents in over two years! And the fact that they are coming all the way to Hawaii is huge, because due to the fact that my mom suffers from chronic and severe claustrophobia she has NEVER flown in an airplane....she is in her fifties (sorry mom for throwing your age out there hee-hee!) My mom has always been one to go for the big guns...no small trainer flight for her, no siree! She's starting off with the bug guns. A nice, long 15 hour ordeal to baptize her into the world of air travel.

Say a little prayer for her...and my dad. Not sure who will need them more ;-)

I love your kitchen/dining room. I will pray for your mother. I am so proud of her for just "jumping into" a 15 hour flight instead of starting off slow. Enjoy your time with your parents!

Good work!!! Everything is spic and span!!! Ha ha, I thought your good news was that you were expecting again!!!! Having your parents come is fun too!!!! Good for your Mom, I know how she feels, I was in a submarine once and they had to do an emergency surface to take me out!!! I tried, but it was too much!
Have a wonderful visit with your Mom & Dad!!!!!

Congrat, :) I know that flight is eternal. lol I wish them luck and advise them to bring plenty of entertainment if they cannot sleep. My lovely 9 hour flight to America only source of entertainment was an old projection screen, that we had to share and watch parts of HBO and various datetime television. lol ick I hope they get lucky and get the nice little personal computer screens. :)

Your place looks fantastic! I relate to your mom and the flying thing! One of my first flights ever was to Maui from Phoenix! Yikes!

I know how ya feel about the bloggy mojo! I am just returning from a mini hiatus my self!
