It was time...I held onto those darling red locks as long as possible...but this morning Hubby suggested that our little girl's hair was looking slightly...mullet like. I experimented with various sizes of hairbows but unfortunately he was kind of right this time :( The mere suggestion of scissors touching her sweet head made my heart hurt...but after being prompted to research mullet hairdos online...I conceded.
We took her to a local salon that specializes in children's hair, they were wonderful! they saved her little curls for me and even took her picture and put it in a little frame that says "My First Haircut" She did great for her hairstylist...the fact that she got to sit in an airplane, watch Disney movies and eat candy probably helped a lot! She got to choose a special prize out of the treasure chest when she was finished and by the teim we left she had made friends with everyone in there.
Neither one of us can stop ruffling her bob... You should see her jaunty little walk she has now, you can tell she knows she's cute!

Oh be still my heart! Oh wait, I've got to stop and clean up the mess, cuz my heart is in a melty puddle all over the floor. Oh my goodness how many ways can I say cute, adorable, and precious? This is just almost more cuteness than I can take.

OMG- those are SOO Adorable!! What an awesome place to go get the 1st haircut! And her hair is so cute! She has great hair- unlike my poor Hannah- got her Daddy's hair- fine and thin...hopefully that will change! Thanks so much for sharing!

Well, my heart's all in a muddle of a puddle too!! There are no words sufficient to describe that little red headed doll.
Maybe if we can find a place here that will let him sit in the airplane and have a sucker, Matthew Harrison might cut off his locks. haha Sher

Haha! the Navy will make sure he gets it cut with or without a sucker...and he'll have to pay for it himself too lol...gotta love the good 'ol American Navy.

My heart has just been turned to mush...Bella is adorable in her new "do". I wore my hair in a similar bob at her age. MamaJo calls it a "Little Dutch Girl" haircut. You know, I have some darling pictures of Tyler at the same age in his bowl/bob hairstyle...the resemblance is striking! Hugs and kisses to everyone! K
